There are five different autonomous routines that Tau can use depending on our alliance's strategy. These include climbing onto L1, as well as going into the neutral zone and bringing fuel back into the alliance zone to score.
Tau's climber slots on to the end of the tower and twists, flipping the robot 180° unside down in order to achieve an L3 climb without latching onto the 3rd rung.
For Tau's shooter, it uses a turret that can automatically lock onto specific targets. Depending on where it is in the field, it will always be facing a specific target. For example, the team's zone, the turret always faces the hub. This will allow the robot to score more fuel throughout both autonomous and teleop.
Tau's hopper can store 30 fuel.
Tau uses MK4i swerve modules in "high-rider" configuration in order to get over the bump with ease. The robot also uses "skis" to prevent getting stuck on them. However, due to Tau's dimensions mentioned above in stats, it cannot fit in the trenches. Tau's bumpers can be easily installed and removed via a mechanism involving spring-loaded clips.
